As soon as the door is open he is out and sniffing about, getting into any room that was open. Course once he hears the man leave the bathroom he's quick to bound on over, following him closely to the couch. When the shoes hit the floor he sniffs at them for a moment before giving a snort and shaking his head.

At hearing the pat his attention is once again brought back to the man, head tilting to the side. When his paw is reached for at first he lifts then puts it back down hesitantly, but with a bit more encouragement and being asked to 'shake' he gladly offers the paw up.
